Is There Too Much Orange...

Mom and Dad were supposed to come to Knoxville this weekend for the TN vs. Arkansas State game. Mom's uncle passed away last Sunday and she drove Grandma Kay to Iowa for the funeral, so she wasn't able to come. I was able to talk Dad into still coming!! He came up on Saturday morning and got here around lunch time.

I did have one other motive for my dad coming (other than to see him, of course!) which was for him to bring Zach's birthday cake. I had asked the lady who made our cakes for our wedding to make Zach a birthday cake similar to his groom's cake. We didn't actually get to eat of the groom's cake at the wedding and were very disappointed, so I thought it would be a fun surprise for her to make his birthday cake. Since Dad was still able to come, the cake was also able to come! It was perfect!! And very delicious!! Thanks Ms. Rhea Ann!

Our tickets for the game were amazing. We were on the front row of the bleachers in the left corner of the endzone. I've never seen a football game that close up before!! I loved it!!! And, it was good to see UT win the game(48-27). When the plays were on our end of the field we could hear the players hit. We could see their faces... when they took their helmets off... which isn't very often, but still. We had a great time, even though we missed mom.
