Hello Altima

I am not a car person. When I was in middle school and mom would pick us up from school, it was Lynz who would have to tell me which one was my mom. I couldn't even recognize our van.

Zach is a car person. And that is an understatement. Gradually he's teaching me, but I'm a difficult student. We've been trying to decide on my next car for the past 2 years. We've gone from Altima to Acura TSX to Honda CRV to Acura TSX to Toyota RAV to Altima. We saw the '08 Altima at the car show this year and really liked it, but at that point I still wanted the RAV. Last week Zach started riding to work with a guy who just bought a new Altima. We went and drove one on Sunday and by Friday night we were driving off the lot in my new car.

Wednesday night we went to the lot and made the deal. Zach did such a job. We had figured out exactly what we wanted and the price we were willing to pay. They brought one figure back and he calmly and cooly told them we were hoping to get a little more out of my car. The next figure they brought back still wasn't quite good enough so Zach got them to throw in an ipod adapter for the stereo and we had a deal.

The catch was I had my heart set on Radiant Silver with a conncection package which did not exist on their lot. They found it on Thursday and Friday morning our sales guy got up at 5am, when he didn't have to be at work until 1, and drove to Nashville to get my car and bring it back. He did not have to do this and could've had us wait until Monday or Tuesday to get it, but he went above and beyond and got us the car.

We signed the papers Friday night and have spent the weekend loving our new car!
