We celebrated this year by spending Saturday driving to Ashville via the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoyed amazing views of the mountains. Saturday night we went to the Park Grille in Gaitlinburg... our favorite. Yummy salad and steak and the reason we go back, the creme brulee!
Last year our anniversary was on Sunday, so today was the first "normal" anniversary day. Work and then homemade pizza and watching our wedding video made for a good day. One funny thing from today was I was walking by our admissions office and on the girl's desk was a bouquet of pink roses and a balloon that said "Happy Anniversary". I asked her if today was her anniversary and she said today was her 8th. I was so excited and told her that today was my anniversary too! She was not as excited about it as I was, which was the funny part.
