Jere was worn out after the busy week helping supervise all the painting and furniture arranging. He looked so cute curled up on Daddy's shirt on the couch.
Monday March 1
Pickles testing out the rug/shower curtain upstairs. She's never really been up there until we started cleaning out and getting ready for the baby.
Tuesday March 2
We got the blanket as a baby gift from Janice's sister and brother-in-law. I love that it is homemade and that Dale made it! Jere had to test it out when I brought it home. It passed his test!
Wednesday March 3
Our TN orange wall! It was originally supposed to be a stripe but we decided it would be too much trouble to do a stripe so we went with the whole wall. Thanks to Danny for finishing it up for us!
Thursday March 4
I called mom today... like I do everyday. Only today she tells me that her and dad had been in the walk-in clinic all afternoon after dad sliced his hand open. He required several stitches and a drain. All from working on his tractor and using an old screwdriver. Poor thing.
Friday March 5
Melanie and Charley came in town for the weekend and we got to hang out with them tonight. After some yummy Mexican food, Melanie treated the girls to spa pedicures and it was so wonderful! My poor swollen feet needed it and looked so much better. I loved that Melanie and I separately chose the same color polish... very random!
Saturday March 6
We were so blessed to have all of our parents and siblings in town this weekend for the baby shower. We had everyone over for dinner tonight and it was so fun having them all in our home. Our little one is one blessed little guy! His grandmothers can hardly wait to meet him!
