Project Life Tuesday: Week 20

Sunday May 16
Today was the last day of Sunday School before my 3rd grade girls move up to 4th grade. Cooper and I visited the class this morning. The girls were so very excited to meet him! They were so cute talking about all his cute features and asking me about what he did everyday. This was Cooper's first visit to church.

Monday May 17
I think this will be the last time Cooper can wear this outfit. The little pants that go with it are just too small! His little legs just can't fit anymore.

Tuesday May 18
Cooper had his 1 month well visit today. He weighs 8lbs 9oz and is 22 inches long. We think he's longer than that though! The doctor said he looked great! Cooper was not too happy while we were there, but calmed down once we got back in the car. We even made our first trip to Kohl's to get Mimi's present!

Wednesday May 19
Cooper blew through his first outfit so we just went with the shirt the rest of the day. He's in between the newborn and stage 1 diapers. We had tried stage 1 but they were still a little too big so Daddy had to stop and get some more little diapers for us.

Thursday May 20
Mimi and Papaw came to visit us today and we took a trip to the park for a nice walk. Cooper loves being in his stroller... but only when it's moving!

Friday May 21
Papaw babysat Cooper so Mommy and Mimi could do a little shopping. It was my first time leaving him for any length of time and he did great! Not too much trouble for his Papaw!

Saturday May 22
Cooper got to go to his very first concert. Zach's band played a benefit show at an outdoor amphitheater and we were able to go. Cooper did so well being outside for so long and it did us both some good!

So I spent some time yesterday checking out your earlier posts and saw where you went to grad school (SLP?) at UT. I grew up in Maryville and graduated from UT. Moved to GA after getting married in 2003. Love "meeting" other TN folks. I'll be checking in with your pics and seeing how little Cooper is growing like my Gray. Finally decided to stick to updating the blog more frequently. Gotta let those distant relatives get their fill :)
