Weekend Recap

We spent the weekend at Mimi's house. Papaw was still out of town on his mission trip until late Saturday night, so Cooper got to spend a lot of time with Mimi.

She put us to work Friday night snapping beans. Cooper helped out just a little bit...


Saturday we had a pretty lazy morning even though Cooper and I were up at 6am. We took a couple of little naps during the morning. We also had a little photo shoot with Cooper...







That afternoon, I got to finish my little mini scrapbook that mom and I had bought when we went shopping on Tuesday. I loved our idea of using pics from a collage print in the album. The pics were a perfect size for the book.

Saturday night, Mimi and Cooper had a date night while me and Zach went to Katie's wedding. We got to drive little red and we left a little early and drove around looking at houses. The wedding was so pretty and we had a fun time. We went for dinner at Chik-fil-A before heading back home to our baby.

Sunday, we went to church and got to introduce Cooper to a few more people. Mrs. Laughrie was in the nursery with him so I knew he would be well taken care of. I loved when he met Uncle Matt and he gave Cooper a sweet kiss on the forehead.

We went to lunch and then back to the house to pack up and leave. Right after we got back home, Cooper had a huge blow out. I mean it was awful. Poop everywhere in his carseat, on his nice outfit, and even through the carseat to the floor. It was a huge mess! Thankfully mom and dad were there to help out and while I was cleaning up Cooper they worked on his outfit and the carseat. Mom got every bit of it out of his outfit and Dad got the majority of it out of the carseat. I cannot thank them enough!

Cooper had to have a little time with Papaw before we left and he was all smiles.
