I feel like we are pretty close for a brother and sister. We moved around a lot growing up, which meant leaving friends. But we always had each other. Don't get me wrong though, we know how to push each other's buttons. I know just how to make him mad and he knows just how to make me mad. We fought and got so very mad at each other. But he has always been there for me. He is likely one of my biggest supporters and I know without a doubt that he would do anything in this world for me. And I would do anything for him.
I have been praying for his future wife for a long time now. I knew it would take someone very special to put up with him. Seriously.
I really don't remember exactly when he started talking about his friend Laura, but it's been going on for a while now. I could just tell by the way he talked about her that I would like her. I could also tell that he liked her. He may argue with me on that, but a sister knows these things.
They started dating officially last November. And a week ago I got the following text...
"She said yes!!!!!!!"
Our family could not be more excited! We all love Laura and I love that Ben is "Ben" around her.
I don't think I could have picked out anyone more perfect my little brother. What an answer to prayers she is!
