1. He was tired and trying to fight sleep. He'd get all wiggly and arch his back and crain his neck, trying to see what else was going on. I looked at him and said "Cooper, you're driving me bananas!" He looked up and flashed me the biggest smile. Melt my heart.
2. We were trying to help him get distracted from being fussy when we were out having our pictures made so we put him in some leaves. We sat him up and let him go for just a second and he fell backwards and then rolled twice in the leaves before we could get him. His face was stunned. Then the crying started. Poor little baby. Zach quickly scooped him up and pulled the leaves off him. We didn't try the leaves again!
3. I carried him in his carseat into the store the other day. I had him bundled up but didn't cover up his face and the wind was blowing. It was a cold wind. He doesn't normally cry when I'm carrying him in his seat and it surprised me when he started crying before we got to the door. He stopped as soon as we got in the door. It hit me that he had never actually felt a cold wind before and it probably was a bit of a shock. When we left, I covered him up head to toe with a blanket and little man was asleep before we got to the car!
