I still cannot believe that I am a Mom. I am so thankful God chose me to be this little guy's Mommy. He has brought me a kind of joy and love I have never experienced before.
Monday May 9
He is so expressive. We never have to guess how he really feels about his food. We tried some toddler chicken noodle soup tonight and he was not a fan.
Tuesday May 10
I got these pancakes for him a while ago and forgot about them in the freezer. Found them this morning and they were a big hit. I couldn't believe how tiny they were! The box said "mini pancakes" but seriously, these aren't much bigger than a half dollar.
Wednesday May 11
He's been gnawing on his fingers a lot more. I'm hoping he's getting some teethies but what do I know. So far, I have not had the best track record on thinking he was teething. I mean I was thinking it since he was 6 months old and nothing until just after a year.
Thursday May 12
I got a sweet present this morning from this adorable little face... sleeping in until 8:30. It was so nice to leisurely wake up and get ready before he woke up. (I never would have dreamed myself saying "sleeping in" was 8:30am... joys of kids.)
Friday May 13
This is my front seat each morning on the way to work. KLove on the radio. Water glass in the cupholder. Diaper bag. Lunch Bag. Work Bag. Name tag and wallet.
Saturday May 14
Surprise party for Papaw Roy for his 85th birthday! He was definitely surprised and the party was a big success. I'm a little biased, but Cooper was a close 2nd in receiving attention at the party!
