So thankful to have Grandmommy and Papa Chas in town this weekend! They got to help us celebrate Zach's good news!! And it was exactly 7 weeks since they were here the last time, when we got the not-so-great news. God is good.
Monday August 22
This fellow is so stinking adorable. His smile will melt your heart in 1.3 seconds. He was trying out his spoon after some yummy (only to Cooper) supper.
Tuesday August 23
Vet day for our animals. I think the last time Pickles left the house was about a year ago when we made the trip to the vet. She makes the craziest noises in that carrier! Jere was checking in on her while we were waiting for the Vet to come in. So thankful they are super quick at our office. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes and that was even giving them time to copy our records for us.
Wednesday August 24
(will post pic when I get it from Zach's phone) The things I want to remember most about today are the early morning phone call from my parents leaving me a "Happy Birthday" song on my voicemail, the best hugs and kisses ever from my Cooper Booper, totally understanding why my Mom thanked me for making her a Mom 29 years ago, text messages and facebook messages throughout the day from family and friends reminding me how loved and blessed I am, hearing my grandparents sing me Happy Birthday for the 29th time and amazed at how good Papaw sounded, missing hearing GK's sweet voice singing to me today, steak dinner by my amazing in-laws, sweetest birthday cards ever from my husband and little boy (which he helped to sign), and facetime with my baby brother and his bride showing off their new puppy.
Thursday August 25

Afternoon date with my love. We had lunch at Lenny's followed by some shopping for clothes for his new job and a planner for me (I must be organized with all these changes coming up!). We were so proud of ourselves and our 30% off coupon from Old Navy and our huge savings on some pants and shirts for him. (Again amazed by God's perfect timing, since I literally got the coupon this morning.) And the day topped off with dinner with family.
Friday August 26
Cooper got to go to Morristown with Mamaw and Pappy and Daddy today. Pappy and Daddy played golf and Cooper got to hang out with Mamaw and one of her friends. He had a blast and they said he was so good!
Saturday August 27
Ended our Saturday together with Five Guys on our newly cleaned off patio. It was such a beautiful evening and I loved getting to hang out with my guys. Cooper wouldn't try a piece of burger or a fry, but he did eat one of the onions from off my burger. Crazy kid!
