This was what Zach's doctor told him on Weds when he was supposed to be having an endoscopy and colonoscopy but ended up only having the endoscopy because insurance did not approve the colonoscopy.
At least we found out on Tues before he began all the prep work!
It is so very frustrating. We want to know what's going on with him and what we need to do to fix it. So that he can feel normal again. And we can be normal again.
After the endoscopy, the doctor ordered a gallbladder function test for Friday. We don't have the official results yet, but we're pretty sure it's not functioning normally.
We'll see. And in the mean time, we can rest knowing that insurance approved the colonoscopy. A few hours after we were back home after the endoscopy.
