My China

When we got married we decided not to register for a china pattern... with the understanding that someday I may want to get some. When mom and I were in Atlanta we went to Macy's and were walking through the housewares section and I saw a display of a china pattern that I fell in love with. I mean I LOVED it! I hadn't even been looking at patterns but I knew this was the one I wanted. I took a picture of it on my phone and wrote down the name of the pattern. We got back to the hotel and I immediately added it to my wish list.

When I talked to Zach about it, he made some comment about how we didn't need any china and not to worry about it. I was so MAD! All I wanted him to do was look at it and tell me what he thought. I didn't think we needed to order it right then. I'm not that crazy! I even told my mom how frustrated I was with him.

Well, little did I know, he had a little something planned for me and when we opened Christmas gifts I found a four piece place setting of my china from my love. He was so proud of himself! He did good and he knew it. I was so excited and shocked. He was grinning all over himself.

I'm so glad we waited to pick out our china!
