I totally realize that having an Easter basket for Cooper was more for me than it was for him, but I always love (my Mom still gets us something for Easter) my Easter baskets and I couldn't wait to do this for him. We waited until we got home from church to let him dig in and he really wasn't too sure what to think of it.
He was confused by the grass... we quickly got rid of that stuff!
He was amazed by the ducky bubbles I blew for him.
He proved that he is definitely his Momma's boy... he took his first bite of a peep and LOVED it!
He was a fan of the eggs that he could shake. I put animal crackers and goldfish in the eggs!
We spent a little family time at Aunt Cherry's Easter gathering in the afternoon.
My mom got Cooper the resurrection eggs to go in his basket and I had fun showing Cooper the different pieces and telling him the Easter story. I look forward to years of sharing the amazing story with my little guy.
