Sunday April 3
Stayed home from church since baby boy was still running a fever, but we had a fun day together. We practiced walking/falling, eating, playing, and sleeping.
Monday April 4
Poor baby was not feeling good tonight. His fever got up pretty high, so I'm thinking it's not just teething. So precious how he crawled over to the fireplace and just plopped down on Jere's pillow.
Tuesday April 5
He had less of a fever today, but I went ahead and took him to the doctor. So glad I did because he's got another double ear infection. Poor little guy. I felt terrible. They said it probably hadn't healed completely from the last one. We got him some medicine and still went on a date for some dinner and then to Sarah's surprise party. He's such a trooper!
Wednesday April 6
I ended up having to leave work early today. Cooper's fever got up to 104.8 at one point and we were all a little freaked out. I have never felt anyone be literally hot to the touch. Poor thing was just wimpering and limp. I gave him a warm bath, stripped him down, gave him some cold water and then rocked him. He was able to sleep a while and woke up with fever down to 99. He was back to playing and eating. We were so relieved.
Thursday April 7
Cooper was doing so much better today. No fever at all! We headed to the 'Boro this afternoon for the wedding weekend. I was so happy that my grandparents were doing well enough to make it. Love this pic of my Papaw with my son! He loves Cooper so much!!
Friday April 8
Golf with Ben hitting a hole in one. Bridesmaids Luncheon. Decorating. Rehearsal. Rehearsal Dinner. Bed time. Cooper didn't think it was bedtime. He thought it was playtime. Zach had to go back out and drive him around to get him to sleep. Love this pic. Those two were so very excited that the time was finally here!
Saturday April 9
Oh my goodness. My baby brother got married today. It was beautiful. I can't help but be reminded of our wedding and how thankful and blessed I am by our family. Zach was amazing today... such a big help with everything and didn't complain once.
