Project Life Tuesday | Week 24

Sunday June 12


My baby came home today!! Surprisingly I didn’t actually get a picture of his homecoming... I was to busy loving on him and eating him up to stop and take a pic. We did enjoy some Mexican food for lunch and a trip to the store before little man made it home. We also got the idea to make our own fruit parfait from the wedding yesterday and got some stuff at the store. The only thing we couldn’t find was actual granola. No idea where it is in the store!

Monday June 13

It totally stunk having to go to work this morning with little man being back home, but Mimi brought him and we all had a lunch date. When we got back to work and I brought him inside for a few minutes to show him off. The residents’ faces just light up when they see a baby... so precious.

Tuesday June 14

Zach kept Cooper this afternoon while Mom and I did a little shopping for the beach. I needed a post-Cooper swimsuit and some shorts very desperately!! We bought Cooper some size 5 shoes, but they were too small... so we took them back after supper (Z5) and got a blast for a fun treat. Mimi did Cooper’s bedtime tonight, since she has to go home tomorrow.

Wednesday June 15

Oh my goodness... little man is a walking machine now. He toddles back and forth with his arms out in front or to the side for his “zombie walk”. I CANNOT believe the my little baby is walking around like a regular little person. Melt my heart when he comes walking to me with arms out and then big hug around the neck.

Thursday June 16


Such a cutie pie in his little tunnel. We had such a fun morning together... It’s been a while since it was just me and my little guy and we loved it! We played blocks, read books (the “Best Friends” book over and over), and he took a nap in his crib (with a little bit of protesting). That night I worked on our lists for the beach!!

Friday June 17

Me: "How did you get so quick at counting."(He was faster and more accurate than me).
Pt: "From selling dope."
Me: Shocked look on face. "Ok then. I guess you would have to be good at counting for that."

Saturday June 18
Dropped off the Jere. Picked up some snacks. Got some chicken minis. Filled up with gas. Hit the ricky road...
