Cooper got a new toy last night when we went shopping with Grandmommy and Papa Chas. He has not put the golf club down. He just keeps dragging it around with him. He's so proud!
Monday July 4
Daddy and Cooper walking down the street to Aunt Cherry's house. I still can't get over seeing little man walk! Melt this Momma's heart to see her boys walking together. We had a fun time hanging out with family. Cooper slept right through all the fireworks being shot off literally right outside our door!
Tuesday July 5
I always love picture texts of my baby while I'm at work. Zach sent to me this afternoon. He said he went to see what Cooper was up to and this is what he found. No clue where he learned this from.
Wednesday July 6
I've still been frustrated with Cooper's lack of enthusiasm for trying foods. I can't figure out his thinking. I made myself an egg sandwich tonight and offered Cooper a bite (as I try to do with most everything we eat) and instead of turning away he took a bite. He didn't spit it out and actually wanted more! I ended up making him a half an egg sandwich and he ate the whole thing!
Thursday July 7
I enter giveaways often and was super excited when I finally won one at scrapbookcircle.com. I won a gift certificate for a camera strap, but the company didn't follow through and the people at Scrapbook Circle were kind enough to offer me one of their scrapbook kits instead. I was super excited and actually preferred this over the strap!! Imagine my surprise when a few days later I got another kit in the mail. I emailed them and offered to send it back. She said it was their mistake and to enjoy the extra kit! Wow!
Friday July 8
We got to take Cooper swimming in a big pool tonight, thanks to some friends. Cooper loved the water and actually seemed to prefer being out of the floatie and in our arms. This made me super nervous!!
Saturday July 9
I've been putting off the first haircut until when could make it back home for the weekend. I really wanted Cortney to be the first one to cut my baby's hair. She did an amazing job and Cooper was so good! He looks so grown up now!!
