So happy that we got a little time with the grandparents. It took Cooper a while to warm up to them, but he was starting to give them high 5s by the time we left. He did show off all his cool tricks and I'm so glad they got to spend some time together.
Monday July 11
Random picture taken after I got home tonight. I try to squeeze as much time in with him as possible between work and bedtime. I love to see him walking toward me and then fall on top of me smiling and giving me big hugs.
Tuesday July 12
This was the scene today as I was trying to fix a quick lunch before going to work today. He wanted my full attention and since I was not giving it to him he pitched a little fit. Typical lunch here lately is a grilled cheese and chips w/ cheese melted on top dipped in sour cream. Not healthy, but definitely yummy.
Wednesday July 13
Little man won't eat "real" veggies but he sure loves his fruit. I didn't have a pic from today (this was taken last week) but it is typical for now. It totally cracks me up to see him separating the blueberries and strawberries. He eats the blueberries first and then then strawberries. So cute!
Thursday July 14
Finally took mom's suggestion and gave him his own bowl/spoon to play with while I was in the kitchen. It entertained him for like 30 minutes! I had time to unload the dishwasher, fix dinner (creamy Italian chicken in the crockpot, rice, green beans) and a cookie/brownie desert. Oh it smelled so good in my kitchen! Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it all together since Zach was at practice and then we went to the hospital to visit his grandmother.
Friday July 15
Not the best picture, but treasure the memory. His little hand on top of mine as I'm reading his favorite "Best Friends" book before bottle and bed time.
Saturday July 16
We were all so glad that Pappy made it home from his Ireland golf trip and we had to go visit with them a while today. We had lunch over there and Cooper tried cucumber for the first time. He may have swallowed a bite and spit out the rest. I couldn't get a pic of the cucumber, but did find a perfect green tomato. Nothing like fresh tomatoes from the garden.
