Got up for an early run this morning and came home to my boys snuggled in the bed. So peaceful. Oh and I never thought I would say that I "got up for an early run", but I love it!
Monday August 8
We've been having problems with ants on the high chair, but couldn't figure out where they were coming from. I clean the chair like a crazy person after each meal, but they still came back. I came home tonight to a trail of ants attacking the trashcan in the kitchen. I followed them around the rug and to the wall they were coming from, sprayed the ant stuff like crazy all along the trail, vacuumed, sprayed again, put a trap out, then went outside and sprayed along the outside of the house. The ants had to go!
Tuesday August 9
Every time he hears Blake Shelton's "Honeybee" come on, he stops what he's doing and starts dancing. It is hilarious! Today at the end of the song he held out "ee" of "honeybee" and it was so cute. It makes it even funnier that Zach is not a fan of this song. At. All.
Wednesday August 10
Little man has figured out how to open all the drawers/cabinets in our house. It's funny that the last ones he figured out he could open were his own! Now comes the fun part of keeping him from pulling all of his clothes out of the drawers!
Thursday August 11
Bath time fun with little man. Sometimes he stays in the tub for a while and sometimes he loves to turn into a fishie. When he starts chunking toys out of the tub then bath time is over!
Friday August 12
Worked my half-day today, packed up, dropped off Cooper and Jere, and then Zach and I hit the road to Atlanta. Tonight was Cubs vs. Braves and they retired Bobby Cox's number tonight. They had a big ceremony before the game started.

Fun weekend away with Ben & Laura!
