Since we missed out on the acquarium on Saturday we decided to give it a try on Sunday morning when it opened. I'm so glad that we did! It was so fun and totally worth it! We saw all kinds of cool animals. And we kept saying how much Cooper would enjoy it... can't wait to take him!
Monday August 15
Baby Ben turned 27 today!! Happy Birthday!! Everyone (including Zach) got to take him out to eat in the 'Boro and then had cake at his house. They were so kind to include me with a little face time. It was the next best thing to being there and celebrating with him!
Tuesday August 16
Worked this morning since Zach was out of town and after nap time this afternoon, Cooper and I took a trip to the park. We stopped by Sonic and got a 1/2 price strawberry slushie and then went and walked around the park. After he figured out I wasn't going to pick him up, he started getting brave and would stop and pick up sticks (as many as he could) to carry along with us. Oh my goodness I love this little guy so much.
Wednesday August 17
Because of our weekend away, we missed our normal Sunday laundry day. Zach and Cooper were getting us all caught up today. Cooper was practicing using his arm and throwing the clothes in the dryer.
Thursday August 18
More practicing throwing any and every ball we own. Daddy sits on the floor and bounces the ball off the loveseat. If he misses or they don't catch it, Cooper goes and gets the ball for them. So precious! Can't decide if we have a pitcher or a quarterback on our hands! :)
Friday August 19
We were all a bundle of nerves this morning as we anxiously awaited a phone call. Zach got some very good news and he and Cooper were so excited!!! So proud of my man!!
Saturday August 20
I'm not sure I could have asked for a more perfect Saturday. Run. Cool off with some water & FB on the porch. Cooper got some Grandmommy time and then some Aunt Jess and Sean time. I went to the store alone. Lunch and nap time for Cooper while I did some 31 shopping for my bday. Surprise-to-me girls afternoon with Melanie and Jessica including pedicures and jewelry making to celebrate my bday. Dinner with the in-and-out of town family. Seriously perfect! I am one blessed girl.
