Letter to my BFF's little one

Dear Baby Abby,

I was so very sad that I didn't get to meet you the day you were born. I came to meet you on Friday night after you were born just as soon as I got off of work. I drove straight to your house and as soon as I got to your house your momma put you in my arms. I fell in love immediately. You were so tiny! I was totally in awe that less than a week ago you were in there



and now you are here.

I couldn't get over how beautiful you were.

I couldn't quit looking at you and smiling.

You were absolutely perfect.


I had the privilege of spending the weekend with you and your family. You have an amazing family! Your mom and dad and big sister adore you and are so blessed to have you in their lives. I loved getting to spend so much time with them, since our time together now is so little. Your mom is one busy bee. I don't think she stopped doing something the whole time I was there. Between fixing meals, laundry, feeding you, running after your big sister, and keeping a clean house she never stopped. And this was all after having a baby less than a week before! She works so hard to make sure you and your sister feel loved and have the best possible life she and your dad can give you. I pray you always remember that!


All I did that weekend was visit with your mom and hold you. I helped change you and even helped Lynz wash your hair, oh you had so much cute dark hair, because we didn't want it getting greasy! Goodness knows Lynz and I don't like greasy hair!!

I love that you live so close to your grandparents and your aunt! They love you and your big sister so much. I loved the game they played with Kyleigh on Saturday night while they were eating dinner where they sang parts of several Disney songs and she had to guess the movie they were from. I was totally amazed with how well she did! You are going to learn so much from her.

My prayer for you, sweet girl, is that you will always know that you are loved. By me, by your family, and most of all by our Savior. He created you. He loves you more than any of us ever could and has an amazing plan just for your life.
